| This is an excellent driving car. Great condition and with zero mechanical problems. This 1964 Corvette started assembly on December 26th 1963, the day after Christmas. It was originally a Daytona Blue coupe with two tone interior, dark blue and white. It has a numbers matching engine and transmission. The fuel injection unit is from another car, but has been completely rebuilt and tested. The Ignition system is a Transistorized one with a Dec 63 date code on the amplifier. The distributor is a virgin unit that has been sitting around unused since the sixties. When the engine was rebuilt, it was done so with the correct Dontov 30/30 cam with factory correct parts except the rockers and the heads were modified to threaded studs. I had the engine tuned and tested at the machine shop, 275 Hp @ 6300 RPM. During the rebuild process I located correct part number parts like a rebuilt water pump, finned balancer, AC Delco fuel pump, date code and part number correct starter and other items to make it correct. The rear end was a 4:56 geared unit, but when I rebuilt it, I had it set up as a posi 4:11 rear. I upgraded the Alternator to a 130amp unit since I didn\\\'t have the date correct one. In the last two years I have replaced . . . Rear leaf spring, end links and shocks Front shocks Complete exhaust from the manifolds back (pipes, hangers, ground straps, mufflers, chrome tips) Rebuilt the engine, transmission (new shifter and linkage), rear end and steering column. Replaced the wiring (engine harness, headlamp harness and gage cluster) Replaced the radio speaker, the radio works fine.
