| list for $62,999 or OBO Thanks for viewing my beautiful 1965 Big Block Corvette. Here are the facts about my Corvette as I know them: Total produced in 1965 = 23,562 but only 8186 were coupes Total Big Blocks= 2157 , Total with Aluminum Knock Off Wheels = 1116 Total produced with Gold Line tires= 989 Car was purchased from the original owner in 1974 , the next owner cared for the car for over 30 years.. Prior to my purchase the car underwent a full Frame Off restoration. It has approx 4000 miles on it since then. A Corvette show Judge told me the Frame is perfect Laser Straight and No Rust at all. And the Body has Never been hit. All the body mounts and bushings were replaced with graphite impregnated polyurethane. All the brake lines were replaced with stainless steel lines. New Coker tires - original reproductions, new brakes, bearings, tie rods, ball joints, sway bars, leaf & coil springs. Look like a nearly new under carriage. Interior is beautifully done with the desirable teakwood steering wheel (only 2259 came with this). The carpet and seats are restored and all gauges work. Exterior refinished with a great paint job to the original Nassau Blue with a glass like finish. Body is razor straight. The Hood has been changed to the very popular and more desirable 1967 Stinger hood. Drive train consists of a non-matching 396/325 hp period correct big block motor. It was professionally rebuild and restored with the rest of the car. Wonderful sounding Hooker Headers into a factory exhaust system. It sounds great , but not too loud. Car has a close ration factory 4 speed tranny. It's very powerful and a blast to drive. Dashpad has been replaced. In my opinion this car needs nothing, but a new passionate owner..
