Hi, my name is “Rowdy”. I was owned by the same guy for over 50 years. I just got a complete frame off restoration and was awarded the NCRS Top Flight honors (June 2007). Not to brag, but I am the most documented and finest example of any 56 Corvette on the planet. I’m in tip top condition and wouldn’t be afraid to race a Z06 with my dual fours. There are a lot of 57 Corvettes out there but when was the last time you saw a rare 56 with a power top. If you love Corvettes and have a special place for me I am your car! Car History: Was purchased in 2006 by current owner from original owner who had the car for over 50 years. He lived in Janesville WI and was employed at the General Motors assembly plant. Car has the original bill of sale, various photos of the car over the years, original spare tire, and owner manual, The car has never been in an accident or had any body work done. It has the orginal 225hp, 265 cid motor with dual fours. If has a 3-speed close ratio transmission, power hydraulic top, along with rare windshield washers. Curtesy lights, and emergency brake warring light, original stunning Ventian Red with Beige coves and top. Every nut, bolt and moving part was restored. This Corvette won Top Flight honors at the regional NCRS judging in Rochester MN, in 2007. It even spouts the original wheel covers. The car has been in Fairhope AL with one owner since being purchased in 2008 and driven for less than 50 miles since its restoration. One of 1043 Venetian Red Models Produced.
